Regula Announce Exclusive Distribution Agreement with TSSI System Limited
July 2006: Regula Ltd., an emerging force in full page document readers, document authenticity verification and other forensic equipment, announces today that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with TSSI Systems based in Swindon, UK. Under this agreement TSSI, the security solutions provider will distribute Regula’s document readers and document authenticity verification equipment across the UK for use in HM Customs & Excise, Immigration, Police, Ports and Airports. The agreement was initialised by Security Advisory and Technology Services Ltd, the UK specialist security consultancy, that identifies developing and international technologies for new markets.

e-Passport Interoperability test
Representatives of Regula Ltd. for the first time participated e-Passport Interoperability test, which took part in Berlin on May 29 – June 1, 2006. Our company presented full-page passport reader “Regula 7004” as well as the unique mobile complex for reading documents data “Regula 8333”.
Participation in the tests gave access to a wide collection of passports and electronic chips of different producers. Tests’ results served a necessary basis for development of new effective technological solutions on reading information from e-passports, and their expedient integration in Regula devices.
Regula Ltd. intends to participate in the next round of tests on reading data from e-passports.
China Police Exhibition
Representatives of Regula Ltd. took part in China Police Exhibition held in Beijing on May 24-27, 2006.
In the course of this trip Regula Ltd. presented its products to competent agencies of China, municipal authorities of Shanghai, Zhuhai, Guanchzhou. |
Educational Conference of International Association for Identification
Regula participated in the exhibition organized in the framework of 92nd Educational Conference of International Association for Identification . Event took place on July 24- 25 in San Diego , USA .
Regula presented its products in the booth under the name of Document Forensics Inc.
– exclusive distributor of Regula for the territory of the United States , located in Marlborough , MA. During event Regula exhibited solutions for operative and in-depth control of questioned documents, databases of traveler documents, as well as passport readers.
GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready!
For the first time Regula Ltd. participates in exhibition “GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready!” - major homeland security event in the United States, which will be held on May 9-10 in Washington DC. Regula takes part in this event jointly with its representative in the United States “Brent Powell Enterprises Inc.”. XIX National Congress of Criminalists of Brazil
Regula in concert with its authorized representative in Brazil GurTeq - Ensaios Não Destrutivos will participate in XIX National Congress of Criminalists of Brazil. In the framework of Congress Regula and Gurteq will also demonstrate to the delegates products developed by Regula for application in various forensic expert areas: authenticity control of security features in documents, automatic reading of travel documents, detection of illegal alterations of VIN numbers, and others.
Event will take place in Salvador, Brazil, on November 11-17, 2007.

The main technical changes in the new device:
- increased number of light sources and filters for examination of IR luminescent features;
- added white and IR oblique lights for examination from different sides;
- connection interface changed to USB standard;
- built in RFID reader for examination of electronic travel documents (with contactless chips);
- upgraded software VideoScope – allows automatic reading of machine readable zone and verification of control digits, decoding of barcodes.
At individual requests the device can be supplied with video spectral magnifiers models 4027 and 4097. |
